Kordia Pop up TV in HD was officially launched by NZ’s leading transmission provider, Kordia, on June 1. Transmitting on Freeview Channel 200, Kordia says the channel reaches potentially 3.3 million Kiwis in an average week. (Some viewers may need to re-tune their sets to find Freeview 200). ‘Red Carpet’ executive producer Debbie Byrnand says the alliance of Red Carpet Productions with Kordia is a great extension of the company’s services to entertainment and lifestyle clients.
“We are excited by the future of this new development with Kordia,” she says. “To see our items regularly on the home screen of so many television sets around the country is great exposure for the event organisers and promoters we provide our services to. It gives viewers an insider’s look at the glamour entertainment and lifestyle events that we cover as well as reviews on where to dine, what to see and the latest products to the market”

Where is the NZ Audience?
The most commonly used medium in New Zealand today is still television by a significant margin. While online entertainment platforms are on the rise, TV has consistantly stayed fast as the most popular form of recreational passtime.
